What the service does

MemoryTransit organises photos and videos that you keep in your own Dropbox or Google Drive, backs up photos from your phone into that storage, and lets you share your library privately with family members you invite.

Information we handle

Account: your name, email address and account identifier from Google or Apple sign-in, and your sign-in sessions.
Library catalogue: for each photo or video, its file name, size, checksum, capture date, storage location, and the details you or your family add, such as albums, tags, names of people, places, captions, favourites and comments.
Storage connection: an encrypted access token for the Dropbox or Google Drive account you connect.
Photos and videos: originals and small preview images are stored in your own Dropbox or Google Drive, in the folder the app creates there. When you or your family view them, they pass through our servers to your device and are not kept by us.
On your phone: with your permission, the app reads your photo library to back up the photos you choose or that your backup settings include. It never changes or deletes anything on your phone.
Technical information: IP addresses and request details, used for security and to prevent abuse.
Optional analysis: the website's visual search and organising tools run in your browser. Your images are not sent to AI services. The tags and search data they produce are stored with your catalogue.

How we use it

To provide the service: storing and showing your library, keeping your devices in sync, sharing with the people you invite, and verifying that uploads are complete. We also use it to keep the service secure and to answer you. We do not sell personal information, show advertising, or use your photos to train AI models.

Google user data

When you connect Google Drive, the app requests the "drive.file" permission, which lets it see only files it creates or that you open with it, not the rest of your Drive. Data received from Google APIs is used only to store and retrieve your library files. MemoryTransit's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who else processes information

We use Cloudflare for hosting, the database and the network; Google for sign-in and, if you connect it, Google Drive storage; Dropbox for storage if you connect it; and Apple for Sign in with Apple and app distribution. These providers may process information outside Japan, including in the United States. Besides them, your library is visible to the family members you invite, and selected items are visible to people you send a password-protected link to. We disclose information to others only when required by law.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep your information while your account exists. Items moved to Trash are removed after the retention period your library owner sets, seven days by default. You can delete your account in the app's Settings or on the website. This immediately deletes your catalogue, memberships, share links, stored access tokens and sign-in records, and revokes our access to your storage. Files in your own Dropbox or Google Drive stay there under your control; delete the app's folder yourself if you want them removed. Database recovery copies may keep deleted records for up to 30 days.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to disclose, correct, stop using or delete your personal information by writing to support@kei.kyoto. We answer within a reasonable time.

Security

Connections are encrypted, storage tokens are encrypted when stored, and every request is checked against your library permissions. The service is not end-to-end encrypted: our systems can technically access data that passes through them. No system is perfectly secure.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13. Parents manage family libraries and decide what to share.

サービスの内容

MemoryTransit は、ご自身の Dropbox または Google Drive に保存した写真と動画を整理し、スマートフォンの写真をそのストレージにバックアップし、招待した家族とだけ非公開で共有するためのサービスです。

取り扱う情報

アカウント：Google または Apple でのサインインから得る氏名、メールアドレス、アカウント識別子、サインインのセッション。
ライブラリの目録：写真・動画ごとのファイル名、サイズ、チェックサム、撮影日時、保存場所、およびご本人やご家族が追加したアルバム、タグ、人物名、場所、キャプション、お気に入り、コメント。
ストレージ接続：接続した Dropbox または Google Drive の暗号化されたアクセストークン。
写真と動画：原本と小さなプレビュー画像は、ご自身の Dropbox または Google Drive 内のアプリ用フォルダに保存されます。閲覧時は当社サーバーを経由して端末に届きますが、当社では保持しません。
スマートフォン：許可をいただいた場合に限り、選んだ写真やバックアップ設定の対象となる写真を読み取ります。端末内の写真を変更・削除することはありません。
技術情報：セキュリティと不正利用防止のための IP アドレスとリクエスト情報。

利用目的

ライブラリの保存と表示、端末間の同期、招待した方との共有、アップロードの完全性の確認など、サービスの提供のため。またセキュリティの維持とお問い合わせへの対応のため。個人情報の販売、広告表示、写真を AI の学習に使うことはありません。

Google のユーザーデータ

Google Drive を接続すると、アプリが作成したファイルまたはアプリで開いたファイルだけにアクセスできる「drive.file」権限を求めます。Google API から受け取った情報の利用と移転は、Limited Use の要件を含む Google API Services User Data Policy に従います。

委託先と第三者提供

ホスティング・データベース・ネットワークに Cloudflare、サインインと（接続した場合の）保存に Google、（接続した場合の）保存に Dropbox、Sign in with Apple とアプリ配布に Apple を利用します。これらの事業者は米国を含む日本国外で情報を処理することがあります。このほか、ライブラリは招待した家族に、選んだ項目はパスワード付きリンクを送った相手に表示されます。法令に基づく場合を除き、その他の第三者に提供しません。

保存期間と削除

アカウントが存在する間、情報を保持します。ゴミ箱の項目はライブラリの所有者が設定した期間（初期値 7 日）の後に削除されます。アプリの設定またはウェブサイトからアカウントを削除でき、目録、メンバー情報、共有リンク、保存したアクセストークン、サインイン情報を直ちに削除し、ストレージへのアクセス権を取り消します。ご自身の Dropbox や Google Drive 内のファイルはご本人の管理下に残ります。データベースの復旧用コピーには最長 30 日間、削除済みの記録が残ることがあります。

保有個人データの開示、訂正、利用停止、削除のご請求は support@kei.kyoto までご連絡ください。合理的な期間内に対応します。

安全管理

通信は暗号化され、ストレージのトークンは暗号化して保存し、すべてのリクエストでライブラリの権限を確認します。エンドツーエンド暗号化ではないため、当社のシステムは経由するデータに技術的にアクセスできます。

変更する場合は、このページに日付とともに掲載します。
